How to play
One account, one launcher, and a ladder that resets every Monday. Here is the whole loop from signing up to your first ranked win.

Controls
The original GunZ scheme — every key rebindable in Options.
- W A S D moves, the mouse looks and fires
- Space jumps; tap it again in the air to dash
- Shift blocks; block right before a hit to guard
- 1–3 switch weapons, R reloads, Q swaps to the last weapon
- Enter opens chat; the in-game Options screen rebinds everything
What to do first
A short path that gets you into real matches.
- Warm up against AI duellists — the server is never empty, whatever the hour
- Join a deathmatch and get used to the map before you queue ranked
- The daily solo tournament opens 15 minutes before it starts
- Ask in Discord; people answer fast and will scrim with you
How the ranked week works
One ladder, one reset, paid in TCoins.
- Ranked results count the moment a match ends — no delayed rating, no hourly batch.
- The ladder resets every Monday at 00:00.
- The top finishers of the week are paid in TCoins, and number one takes the weekly jjang for the next week.
- Tournaments run daily at 16:30 and 16:45 server time, with their own prizes.
Questions
Common questions
Is Target GunZ free?
Yes. The client, the server and the ranked ladder are free. Donations and TCoin purchases are optional and never unlock an advantage in a ranked match.
Do I need the original GunZ installed?
No. The launcher downloads a complete client. If you have an old GunZ folder, use a fresh one — do not point the launcher at it.
Does my website account work in the game?
Yes, it is the same account. Register once on the site, then sign in with that name and password in the client.
Is there a rank or item shop?
There is a shop for cosmetics and equipment paid in TCoins, the currency you earn from ranked play, tournaments and time online.
What happens if I am banned?
Bans are listed publicly with the reason, duration and the moderator who issued them. If you believe a ban is wrong, appeal in Discord.
Why do I see AI players?
They keep the server playable around the clock. They are clearly bots, they never appear on the ranked leaderboard, and you can still queue against real players any time.
